PFR launches first cross-brand digital brochure

Firm representing eight different industry brands offers customers new online tool showcasing range of products

Pro Foodservice Reps’ (PFR) has published its first cross-brand digital brochure, giving distributors enhanced visibility of products from its eight partner brands which are stocked in the UK.

The ‘On Demand’ brochure showcases PFR’s exclusive UK offering from American Metalcraft, Barfly, Baselite, Escali, Hatco, Mercer Culinary, Puracycle and Spidocook.

PFR was founded in 2014 by joint owners and directors, Andy Piggin and Ross Gibson, who took inspiration from the rep model common in North America.

It gives overseas manufacturers access to the UK market via an existing team of industry experts, while selling only via distributors and keeping product costs to the end-user competitive.

PFR’s managing director Andy Piggin said: “Until now we’ve worked from separate brochures for each of our brands but this is a step change to help improve visibility for dealers.

“For the first time, we’re displaying UK stock of all equipment across all brands, so dealers can simply pick what they need and get the product, quickly.

“We remain focused on sourcing the products that customers want, at competitive prices, with minimum fuss – and this new catalogue will help facilitate that. Our strength is getting product to the UK customers quickly once the distributor has made the sale, with many of the products available in stock, in the UK.”

Mr Piggin and Mr Gibson recently discussed the firm’s business model and growth plans in an interview with FEJ.
